Carol Lee Brosseau

Miller Gaffney '02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau '03 are the hosts of "Art Breakers,"" which premieres Sunday evening on the Ovation cable channel. The show is a look at their lives as art brokers, who connect buyers, collectors, and artists. Four episodes were filmed by the pair and will be aired through the month of October. They'll air on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. Central time. Ovation hosts more than 50 million subscribers. They also provide support to artists through their OvationDigital Arts network. They're hopeful of receiving approval to film more. My life has been shaped by the Baylor friends I have made and the acquaintances I've met. Karen Pope from the Art History department. I took a lot of my classes for my major with Dr. Pope, and traveled with her to Paris and Chicago to examine art. Her passion for art made it quite enjoyable. She also mentioned that "Art history is like the puzzle. And as art historians, we keep trying to find the pieces that are connected." My family was educated in the car industry by my dad and had to work at the dealership each summer. In one summer, I worked as an assistant mechanic who changed oil and brake pads.
