Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 until 2022. A member of the Democratic Party she has previously served in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009–2011), the spokesperson of the United States Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a contributor to CNN's political coverage from 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001, as a political contributor for CNN. She worked on campaign for re-election of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was then appointed as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was in office from 2005 until 2006 as the communications director of Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as press secretary for Obama's reelection campaign for 2012. 20 years ago, Psaki became the spokesperson for United States Department of State. [20] It was speculated that she was to replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21] However, Josh Earnest was announced to replace Carney on May 30, 2014. In 2015, she was recalled to the White House as communications director and was there until the end of the Obama administration.
